NASA's CYGNSS mission, an initiative to send eight small satellites into space on a Pegasus XL rocket to track Hurricanes from space.
The launch is a part of $157 million Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System.
NASA decided on this method of launch compared to a convention rocket because of lower costs.
